Tiberian Dawn has secret Jurassic mini campaign and Red Alert 1 has secret Giant Ants campaign, google it up how to start it once you finished the regular ones. The fun part is when you learn to block that and prevail. Multiplayer on the other hand isn't that simple, since the human opponent can come up with creative ways to crumple you and sometimes nasty ways to frustrate you. That is just a summery since each game is a world on its own.Ĭheck these websites if you want to play multiplayer now days or be able to run it properly on modern OS:

From there on it was getting new flavors in each installment such as Tiberian Sun and later Red Alert 3 with coop and C&C3 Tiberiun Wars with the option to play as the Alien faction. It got improved in Red Alert 1 which introduced controllable naval units and it got even better in Red Alert 2. Game play itself is fairly simple versus AI, the game follows rock, paper, scissors rules. I've replayed the campaigns at least 4 times, for the cut scenes and music while you are stomping enemy bases. Played it when i was a kid, and kept playing it until now. The remaster here modernizes the graphics and some of the systems while offering a LOT of bonus content like remastered music, what was previously console exclusive missions and upscaled FMVs to name some. If you want the original experience, you can download the original CnC and RA1 for free as they are freeware titles now. Keeo in mind though that some of the older systems in this game were a bit modernized. The gameplay is very satisfying though, especially when you can overcome obstacles that come at ya. Probably compared to most RTS games today, these CnC games here in this collection will probably feel a little simple.

Unlike many RTS games I've seen out there there isn't a unit cap here. You'll find out for the TD side of the game that the resource there (Tiberium) is bad for infantry units to walk across. Pathfinding may be a bit wonkey at times, meaning isn't as good last I checked as more modern games. Notable differences are resource caps which can be expanded by building more refineries (Which come with a harvester unit) and/or silos (Take up less room but offer a decent resource cap boost).

Compared to modern RTS games, CnC here may feel a little different.
